Almond Sugar Cookies

Wet Ingredients
½ c. vegan butter
6 Tbsp. granulated sugar
2 tsp. almond extract
1 c. all-purpose flour
¼ tsp. baking powder
¼ tsp. salt
colored decorating sugar
Instructions
Pre-heat oven to 400°F.
In mixing bowl, cream vegan butter, sugar, and almond extract.
Once combined, add the all-purpose flour, baking powder, and salt.
Using a small-sized cookie scoop, scoop the dough and roll into balls.
Roll each ball in colored decorating sugar.
Use the bottom of a drinking glass or mason jar to flatten the cookies. Make sure you don't flatten them too much. The thicker they are, the softer they will be.
Bake for approximately 8 minutes.
Once slightly cooled, transfer the cookies to a cooling rack.
