Frangipane

Ingredients
1 Tbsp flax seed meal
3 Tbsp water
½ c. vegan butter
1 c. powdered sugar
1 c. almond flour
½ tsp. salt
2 Tbsp cornstarch
2 tsp almond extract
Instructions
In a small-sized bowl, mix ground flaxseed and water. Place the bowl in the fridge for 15 minutes.
In another bowl, beat vegan butter and powdered sugar until smooth.
Slowly add the almond flour, salt, and cornstarch to the butter mixture.
Add the almond extract and flax seed mixture. Beat until well combined.
Store leftovers in an air-tight container in the fridge.
